Eve McIntyre

Project Emerald, Founder

Eve McIntyre is the Founder and CEO of Project Emerald, an Australian circular fashion marketplace working to make buying and selling second-hand the default choice. Launched in August, Project Emerald enables individuals, brands, and charities to resell quality clothing and accessories, keeping garments in circulation at their highest value for as long as possible. The platform supports resale of pre-loved items alongside samples, seconds, returns, and past-season stock — addressing overproduction while creating new revenue streams and measurable environmental impact.

With a background in retail operations and business leadership, Eve brings a pragmatic, systems-led approach to circularity. She believes circular models such as resale, repair, and services are no longer alternatives, but essential pathways for how brands build long-term value, resilience, and trust.

As a female founder building outside the traditional fashion system, Eve is focused on proving that values-led businesses can be commercially viable while driving meaningful change. She is passionate about collaboration across brands, government, and society to normalise circular behaviour at scale and to support Australian-built platforms that are designed with sustainability and impact at their core.

As a member of Women Chiefs of Enterprises, Eve is committed to contributing to a global network of women leaders who are reshaping economic systems through innovation, collaboration, and purpose-driven enterprise. Her work centres on moving circular fashion from the margins into the mainstream — creating lasting cultural, environmental, and economic impact. Mission: We collaborate to make the Australian fashion industry circular.
