WCEI Members Event – What’s Keeping you Awake at Night?

Sleep problems pose a global human epidemic. Sleepiness, sleeplessness, exhaustion and functional sleep disorders are steadily increasing globally over the past 50 years.  While the severe spectrum accounts for up to 5% of the global population, 10 to 15% have a diagnosable illness and at least 60% of people report sleep issues.

Sleep issues are far more pronounced in women, yet we often fail to see sleep problems are strongly linked to anxiety, depression, poor productivity, and poor quality of life.  While we have more “tools”, global health indices continue to decline.

Addressing sleep problems in otherwise successful, beautiful and independent women, requires a compassionate understanding of sleep rhythm, daily movements, what actual rhythm will support bodily efficiency, and how to mitigate the influences that disrupt the rhythm.  Beyond the scientific diagnostics offered in Medicine, the “remedy” is already known to improve health and develop strategies to deepen the quality of sleep.

Join experts Sam and Jasna Kim who have run Integrative Pulmonary Care & Medical since 2005, as they talk to us about how to improve our quality of sleep in order to not only feel better but take us to another level of vitality and health.

There will be time for Q&A on the night, however, if you have a specific question or an issue you would like Jasna and Sam to cover, please email Jasna in advance, ideally before 5pm on Monday 6 July – jasna@pulmonarycare.com.au

Date: Tuesday 7th July
Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
