An elegant and festive WCEI Lunch marks the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Horse at one of Brisbane’s most sought-after dining destinations.

Hosted at Central Brisbane, this exclusive event offers a wonderful opportunity for WCEI members and guests to come together for an afternoon of connection, celebration and exceptional cuisine. Central Brisbane is an award-winning Chinese restaurant, renowned for its innovative, contemporary approach to dining and its outstanding service. With the Lunar New Year period being one of the busiest times of year, availability is extremely limited and demand for this venue is expected to be high.

Guests will enjoy the Signature Central Banquet, thoughtfully curated to showcase the restaurant’s cutting-edge culinary style and elevate the overall dining experience. To mark the occasion, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary arrival drink, generously hosted by Virginia Bishop Interior Designs, setting the tone for a refined and celebratory afternoon.

Due to the popularity of this venue and the limited capacity, numbers are strictly limited and bookings will close once capacity is reached. Attendance must be confirmed no later than 2.00 pm, Friday 6 February 2026. Early booking is strongly encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Cancellation Policy

Participants may cancel their registration without penalty up until 7 days prior to an event, by giving written notification via email to the Secretariat Office of WCEI.

Cancellations received in the same manner less than 7 days before an event but within 24 hours of such event will incur a 20% administration fee. Cancellations received the day before, the day of, or after an event will not be eligible for a refund. Substitute attendees are welcome and encouraged with notice of such being given to the Secretariat Office of WCEI.
