WCEI Queensland: Leading With Vitality

You’re invited to a women’s wellness evening designed to feel more like a conversation than a lecture. Our host Meaghan South, WCEI member and renowned entrepreneur, Meaghan translates the science of energy, cognition and stress resilience into simple, practical habits that help high-performing women extend their careers, rather than quietly step back from them. The evening moves from the real data on why women are leaving the workforce or turning down promotions over their health, through four practical vitality pillars, to a warm, empowering close that leaves the room with hope and at least three concrete actions to take home.
Hormonal shifts through our 40s and 50s are part of the picture for many in the room, but the real drivers of low energy, brain fog, mood swings and midlife weight gain – chronic stress, gut health, sleep debt, nutrition gaps – affect high-performing women at every age and life stage. The frame is universal: health as the foundation of a long, strong career.
Throughout, Meaghan draws on her own experience of twenty-five years building award- winning wellness businesses, running on empty through her forties, a sudden health collapse, and years of recovery that changed how she works and lives. Her honesty about that journey is what gives the room permission to recognise their own.
Join us for an intimate evening in the Private Dining Room at Luminare.

YOUR GUIDE
Meaghan South
Medispa & Wellness Advisor · Integrative Nutrition Coach · Former President, WCEI Queensland
Meaghan is one of WCEI’s most accomplished long-standing members and is among the very few women to have served as both Queensland and Victorian President – a testament to her outstanding leadership and commitment to supporting women in business.
Her entrepreneurial journey began at just 28 years of age when she launched Brisbane’s first luxury day spa, the legendary The Dome Retreat, located within the newly opened Brisbane Marriott Hotel. At a time when the concept of luxury wellness was still emerging in Australia, Meaghan was setting new benchmarks for the industry. She went on to purchase and transform Outshine Beauty Medispa in Brisbane’s prestigious James Street precinct before visioning and developing KAILO, a Wellness Medispa within the acclaimed Calile Hotel, helping shape one of Australia’s most celebrated lifestyle destinations.
In 2021, Meaghan and her family relocated to regional Victoria, where she assumed the presidency of WCEI Victoria. During her tenure she strengthened the organisation by building meaningful connections between metropolitan and regional members while continuing to champion women in business. Inspired by her passion for holistic wellbeing, she also undertook further studies in Integrative Nutrition Coaching and is mentored by Longevity Doctor Agnes Warcholowski, enabling her to guide and support women in resetting their gut health and transforming their health and lifestyle.
Now back in Brisbane, Meaghan’s most recent project has been as Spa and Wellness Advisor to TotalFusion Platinum in Newstead, leading its transformation into a world-class longevity, aesthetics and wellness destination. She is now consulting with Cavcorp as part of the trillion-dollar global shift towards wellness-led living, alongside her passion of guiding high-performing women to reset their health so they can extend their careers and stay at peak performance, for as long as they choose.
Join us to hear Meaghan’s remarkable story of entrepreneurship, innovation and resilience. From pioneering luxury wellness in Australia to leading one of Brisbane’s most exciting new wellness destinations and supporting women’s health, her journey is sure to inspire anyone with a passion for business, leadership and living well.
We’d love to have you at the table. RSVP by 3 September – spaces are limited.
We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
