WCEI VIC Intuitive Collaboration for Leadership Success

Wednesday, 14 June 2017

Event Introduction:

Dear WCEI Members and Guests,

Mary Anne will share her life experiences of how she negotiated her way to become the architect of her own life and move beyond family beliefs. This will be the first time she has shared her story.

She faced her fears and walked a path of self-belief like a true rebel. By following her childhood friends enlightened thinking and seeking out other viewpoints, Mary Anne moved mountains and transformed leadership in her career, changed history in her family and her community.   Mary Anne’s journey is empowering and is a story of embracing her intuition to stand up for herself and create amazing change.

To own her power as a female, she first had to claim her character, her values and her inner visionary.  And it began with a teenage boys’ dream – the concept of Superheros and Super Villains.  Each of us has a touch of the Superhero and Super Villain in us.    We all have light and dark, good and bad, stupidity and intelligence.  The trick is to know what part of you is in charge at any one time.

Mary Anne was born into one of Australia’s affluent families, where financial gain took precedence over love and encouragement. As a girl, in a large family, she was repeatedly told and shown that her gender was only good for supporting the men in their pursuit of success.

The remedy? Don't get mad, get independently successful!

Mary Anne is a master of collaboration and will share how observing her own upbringing propelled her to making intuitive and conscious choices on how she wished to operate.

We all have a choice to be of service or be self-serving.  Being of service means looking after those around you that you have been charged with, it’s not about looking after number one.  Collaborative leaders do not sacrifice their own needs either, they work on win/win relationships.  Mary Anne’s view is that many of Australia’s businesses can never grow or develop because most of our workforce and leaders have adopted the convict mentality of not trusting themselves let along anyone else. We inherited a history of the rebel.   By being a rebel for the greater good, Mary Anne had to walk alone and seek support from a new tribe of Super Heroes who had a more enlightened and equal view of what was possible.  Mary Anne’s new book Mastering your Business Intuition – how to connect and collaborate with success will be available to all attending.

Cheers
