It is time for one of our most popular events of the year, the Gold Coast Luncheon, celebrated at Tedder Avenue, Main Beach, the venue for the annual Main Beach Spring Flower Festival in September.
Hosted by WCEI Member Dominique Corbett, of Corbett & Co Property Specialists, this year will be a ‘floral affair to remember’, as we introduce our special guest speaker, the curator of the Main Beach Spring Flower Festival, internationally acclaimed botanical artist, Julia Rose.
“After women, flowers are the most divine creations.“ – Christian Dior
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Festival, come and hear all about Julia’s artistic vision for this year’s Festival, her unique approach to floral design and stories from her fascinating career.
Meet the organisers who designed the Festival to showcase local businesses in Tedder Avenue and Main Beach giving the local community an opportunity to come together as well as attract visitors from all over the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Interstate.
Members and guests are invited to gather for a special pre-luncheon reception at Flowers on Tedder at 11:30am, hosted by Margot de Groot, WCEI Immediate Past National President and one of the key driving forces behind the Main Beach Flower Festival.
We will then take a short stroll across Tedder Avenue to Shuck Restaurant for lunch at 12:00 midday.
