SUMMARY:WCEI New South Wales: Inside the Dorothea Mackellar Collection
DESCRIPTION:We have a wonderful opportunity for a private viewing at the Mitchell Library\, State Library of NSW\, of selected collection items relating to the Mackellar family\, including celebrated Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar.  These rare items were offered to the Mitchell Library by the family for safe keeping\, for future generations. \n\nWe are fortunate to offer this event thanks to the generosity of WCEI member Lyndal Hughes. Lyndal’s mother\, who met Dorothea and is custodian of her copyright\, will join us from Queensland to share personal stories and memories of the family.  \nFollowing the viewing and storytelling\, we will move to the Library Bar to enjoy drinks and canapes with a view of the city. \nTo ensure an engaging experience\, places are limited to 25 people\, so be quick to secure your spot. \nEvent Details\nDate: Thursday 12 November\nTime: From 4pm AEDT\nVenue: Michael Crouch Maps Room\, Level 1\, Mitchell Library Building\, State Library of NSW\, 1 Shakespeare Place\, Sydney\nTickets: $80 for WCEI Members\, $100 for guests\nReserve Your Place Here \nCancellation Policy\nParticipants may cancel their registration without penalty up until 7 days prior to an event\, by giving written notification via email to the Secretariat Office of WCEI. \nCancellations received in the same manner less than 7 days before an event but within 24 hours of such event will incur a 20% administration fee.
